September 3: Reconnecting with my stash
Today, all I really accomplished was deciding on the envelope to cover up yesterday's hot mess of a spread. But I spent a good chunk of the session digging through my working ephemera and gelli print stash, pulling together what would go inside it.
I love making journal spaces that are more than just private pockets for tucked-away thoughts — I love turning them into little interactive treasures, collaged bits like tags, frames, and my personal favorite, a tiny baby loom, that also become part of my visual language. Today I just went with gut and whim, gathering whatever felt right for the space, no overthinking it.
I got so lost in the task that before I knew it, the live was over. All good fodder for tomorrow's session.
