Day 40 — woohoo, two-thirds of the way through! And just in case I was starting to feel a little too cocky about my art journal skills, today was pretty humbling. I went back to fix a page that had gone sideways, and ended up making it only marginally better, if not worse.

So I've made an executive decision: I'm covering it up. Tomorrow. Today, I'm letting all the paint dry and stepping away.

Even at day 40, this thing still humbles me. Maybe that's the actual milestone worth celebrating.
