Day 58
September 22: Just something pretty
Today I felt like painting flowers. I've discovered recently that when you're using good watercolors and decent watercolor paper, you can get away with making genuinely great flowers using just simple, single brush strokes — then letting the paint interact with the water to do all the real work of building texture and interest. Less controlling, more collaborating.

This whole challenge has made me brave enough to let go of perfect outcomes and just interact with the paint and paper — trusting the medium to meet me halfway instead of fighting for control over every mark.
