September 7: Sleep walking into the studio
Today's live was raw, unfiltered, no coffee — and as Mondays sometimes do, it threw in a curveball: my laptop hadn't charged overnight. So we streamed straight from my studio work table instead, armed with two cups of pens I grabbed on the way and one journal.
From there, it turned into a black mark-making kind of day. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure how the live went — no real plan, no real narrative, just me and a variety of my black pens finding their way across the page.
Some days aren't about the story. They're just about showing up and making marks, even when you can't fully account for how you got there.
