I spent some time redrawing the outlines to make the main elements pop, then made the call to let it simmer for another spell before adding any more details.

The rest of the session was pure bliss — just adding more colored moths to my pages, no pressure, no overthinking. Sometimes the follow-up to yesterday's doubt is exactly this: a little patience, a little polish, and a lot of moths.
